HOW TO STAKE A PLANT USING IVY MUSELOOP

The team and I (over at IVY MUSE) recently launched an IGTV video series ‘Plant Style At Home’ - the first episode being a tutorial on how to stake a trailing plant using the IVY MUSE ‘Loop’ stake.

I used a heartleaf philodendron, but any long trailing plant works well. For me, the aim when staking a plant (aside from stabilising its growth) is really turn it into a natural work of art; when tendrils are floating upwards whilst also cascading down they can create such an organic, sculptural scene. Not only that, but by adding some vertical height to your green display (getting closer to eye level) you can appreciate the plant more easily. Win/win situation really.
